How We Work
Every project is different. Every client is different. What remains the same is our commitment to making the process straightforward, transparent, and entirely focused on you. We handle all the details so you don't have to.
Our Process | Corporate Clients
1 — Proposal
We begin with a detailed proposal covering three things: consulting services, art acquisition budget, and implementation. All fees are listed as not-to-exceed amounts — so the full scope of work is completed within the approved estimate, with no surprises.
2 — Art Budget
We work with you to determine an art acquisition budget that reflects your goals and your space. We provide sample budgets and honest guidance — the final number is always yours to set.
3 — Selection Process
Using your brand identity, interior design, and architectural context as our guide, we develop tailored recommendations for every placement — considering scale, sightlines, movement, and the overall experience of the space.
4 — Acquisition + Framing
Once selections are approved, we handle every logistical and technical aspect of procurement — purchase negotiations, contracting, payment processing, condition reporting, and coordination with artists, galleries, and framers. Framing is treated with the same rigor as acquisition — every decision is deliberate, every specification approved before production begins.
5 — Implementation
We manage the full process of deinstallation, transport, and installation — with on-site supervision throughout. Your collection arrives safely, is installed correctly, and looks exactly as intended. We maintain comprehensive insurance coverage throughout every project phase and provide customized insurance certificates for each client site.
6 — Maintenance + Care
A collection needs ongoing attention. We provide care plans, condition assessments, and preventive maintenance schedules to protect your investment for the long term.
Our Process | Designers + Architects
If you are a designer or architect, you already know what the space needs. You have the brief, the palette, the schedule. What you need is an art partner who can plug into your process seamlessly, someone who understands scale, site, and materiality and can move at the pace your project deserves.
That is what we do.
We are not a gallery. We do not have inventory to move or artists on retainer. We come into your project with one priority: making the art program serve the space and the client as well as everything else you have designed.
Here is how it typically works.
You bring us in. The earlier we are in the conversation, the more integrated the outcome. We can work from architectural drawings, material boards, or a walk-through of the space. We start by listening.
We get on the same page. Before we source any art or spend any budget, we ensure we understand your vision, your client, and your constraints. We are not here to impose a curatorial direction — we are here to support yours.
We complement your work, not compete with it. Your client stays yours. Your design vision remains intact. We handle the art — sourcing, commissioning, negotiating, framing, and installing — and you get to recommend a partner you trust.
We coordinate procurement, fabrication, and installation around your milestones and deliver a cohesive, intentional art program that integrates into the big-picture planning, so the end result feels unified.
Our Process | Private Collectors
For private collectors, the process looks a little different.
There is no standard brief, no corporate approval chain, no fixed timeline. What there is — always — is a conversation. We start by getting to know you: your taste, your home, your relationship with art, and where you want to take it. From there, we move at your pace.
We advise private clients at every stage of collecting — first purchases, gallery and auction acquisitions, long-term collection planning, and strategic deaccession. Our market intelligence gives you a clear picture of value, timing, and opportunity before any decision is made. We work exclusively on your behalf, never on behalf of galleries, artists, or auction houses, so the guidance you receive is independent and unconflicted. All of it is handled with the discretion and confidentiality our clients expect.
For clients building investment-grade collections, we anchor key spaces with established blue-chip works — artists with institutional presence, auction history, and proven market stability — and complement them with carefully selected supporting works that add depth and coherence to the whole. For clients who are just beginning, we start simply: with what you love, what you can spend, and what feels right for the space.
And all of it — framing, shipping, delivery, installation — is managed by us, end to end.
